I'm sincerely sorry for the delay

But, as strange as it can appear to you, my life here is kind of busy and I haven't spent any time on this blog since...?

Last week I had an AFS camp, each of us did a presentation of his country and life there, we did some games and spoke about fund raising to do a trip to Ottawa, maybe more. This Saturday we fund raised ("Tag Day"), CA$ 777.77, at first sight.

So far I did "excellent" at school ! My classes here are so easy ! (except art that's becoming more difficult for me now).
The Cross Country season finally ended on Friday, I did 59/276. I'll probably join the curling team this week
Thursday (1/11) all the exchange students are going to a school trip with the Yearbook class, we will assist in live at on of the most popular everyday music show on TV. Before the show (5 pm) we will hang out in Toronto and probably watch a movie, just for fun....Thanks Mr Chilton !

I'm Happy because the Maple Leafs won their two games this week !
Tonight I go iceskating with Ana, Christina, Danny and Connie...
This week will be full of events: Kayley's Birthday, Halloween ! Wouuuuuuuhouhou

On Friday and on Saturday 1st September 2007, we went to see Karen's Parents in their new House, in Orilia.

The countryside is so beautiful, whatever, I should never see the magnificence of this area under the snow (because if we were caught in a snowstorm during the ride...) Whatever, I saw deer, they were two! Only 50m from the house, magical !

On Sunday , we went golfing with Amanda, Kayley stayed at Home, During the night, as we were eating Marshmallows around the backyard**** (forbidden in BRAMPTON), Amanda fell down at work (don't work in a Pizza Hut).

 

Her elbows badly hurt, she went with Karen and Pete to the emergency in the night.Great day!

Monday was a National Holyday !

 

In the morning, we did our back to school shopping. But Pete and Amanda passed it in the emergencies in the afternoon because last night nobody could Xray her elbows.

Tuesday......BACK TO SCHOOL !!!

Here we are, the school begins.

 

I had already taken my classes on Friday morning, which are: English Gr10, Art Gr11, Gym Gr12 and Food & Nutrition Gr10.

Each day I'm attending the 4 classes and this for the whole semester.

Wednesday is a beautiful day, isn't it ?

 In my Food&nutrition classe, I'm the only boy and, the girls are kind of crazy "well, I'm French. That's all"

In the evening, Amanda, Kayle and I went out to see a movie at the theater. :)

Thursday

 

I joined the CROSS COUNTRY TEAM of North Park today....OUCH, my legs hurt !! I'm sch in pain, ("But this is good, if you don't push up your body you won't do better" said the coach, and the end of the season/final championnship is on 26 October, so Push it Up :D)

No, we began softly with a 10 or 20 easy jog plus some acclelerations and STRETCH ! very important...

People at school (the students as the teachers) are very nice with me, I like Noth Park and North Park Like me ^^

 

It's just really different from the french school... The relationship pupils/teacher for example...the timetables...the Hymn and the announcements at the beginning of the school day...

Whatever, I'll write you soon about the latest days and I will ry to be on time for my next article.

Friday 24th August 2007:

Canada, me voici ! Canada, I'm here !

Well, after the Chaos in RCDG, and the looooong flight to Pearson Toronto international airport, and a loooooong stand in line at the immigration office, I finally got out and met Pete and Karen ! (Amanda was working and Kayley was in vacation in newfoundland).

Then, I discovered the house and unpacked my luggages.(We also walked out Molly (the dog) under an unexpected tropical rain)

Saturday 25th August 2007

 This morning, Justin came for breakfast, he's very funny. We laughed a lot (PLAAAAANE)

We have been to Toronto downtown and had a lunch at 4 o'clock (my first Canadian Burger !)

Sunday 26th August 2007

 

I rode cycle with Pete this morning, he showed me my school, the huge shopping center and so on and so on...

At midday, Kayley went back home from Newfoundland, after a 24H journey in car. In the afternoon we tryied to go minigolfing but, even with the GPS, we'd never find out the mini-golf. So we had an Ice cream in a Derry Queen.

In the evening, we saw a film,Cassandra, a friend of Amanda was there too.

Monday 27th August 2007

 

I've been to Toronto with Amanda and Cass today, we took the GO train to go there and we walked down Queen Streetand had lunch in a Thai. After diner, we went to the Shopping center and Cass pierced her lips. His piercing looks strange, it is.....well..."SPECIAL" oO

Tuesday 28th August 2007

Today was a very relaxing day: Amanda, Kayley and Amanda (Kay's friend) and I stayed at home and Cassandracame to visit us.

Wednesday 29th August 2007

 I went to Canada's Wonderland, a Paramont amusement park, one of the biggest in Canada ! We rode many rollercusters and others attractions. Thank you Pete (we had low cost tickets) for the lot of fun we had !

On the evening, I, Amanda, kayley and Kayley (Amanda's friend) saw a weird horror film on the dvd.

Thursday 30th August 2007

 

Today was a quiet and relaxing day: I awoke at 11 am, then I had some occupation like cleaning the bathroom, watching a dvd.

It was Amanda's 1st day at her College, she had some meetings and a barbecue, I think. We'll surely talk about her day during the dinner.

Tomorrow is a great day, I'll meet someone at North Park and we'll chose my classes. I'm quite excited about it !

Well, a week passed...Everything seems to be the best as it could be. I really enjoy being here.
I just hope that I will quickly pass over the language bareer so I could have more fun with everybody ! I'm both afraid and excited about going to school...
